We had a great (but very hot) Memorial Day weekend in Indy this year. We didn't go to The Race this year, but for the second year in a row we did head downtown for the 500 Festival Parade on Saturday.
Reese was very excited to be head downtown and see the parade:
We went downtown about an hour or so before the Parade started and we had plenty of time to play and tickle:
Reese loved sitting up on my shoulders to see the Parade - almost as much as he loved eating his cookie and dropping crumbs all in my hair ;)
We asked Reese what his favorite things from the Parade were and he said the marching bands and the train.
The Purdue Boilermaker train made an appearance at the Parade and Reese loved it:
