Don't worry, we've got a few more posts with pictures coming soon, but in the mean time, here are a couple funny stories about Reese in the past few months.
1.
The three of us were at Hobby Lobby just before Christmas doing a bit of shopping and we saw a few ornaments. some with Tinkerbell, some with Mickey Mouse and one with Spongebob. Reese kept asking me who was on each ornament and when we got to the Spongebob one, he said "It's a cheese!"
Me: No, I know it looks like cheese, but it's Sponegbob
Reese: It's Bob the Cheese!
Now every time he sees anything with Spongebob on it, he shouts out that it's "Bob the Cheese"!
2.
A few weeks ago Reese has really been using his imagination more. He's hopping on his ride-on car and tells us that he's headed to Ikea, Trader Joe's or off to school. Another way his imagination has been flourishing lately is by talking to and having conversations with his stuffed animals.
He'll usually start out by asking Jack or Sven or Mickey Mouse a question, then he'll stick the animals nose in his mouth and will talk as the animal. Here's how a typical conversation goes:
Reese: Hi Sven, how was your day?
Sven (Reese talking muffled with Sven's nose in his mouth): I'm doing good Reese, how are you?
Reese: I'm good Sven, how are you?
This usually goes back and forth a few times, but it's been fun seeing him use his imagination more to play lately.
