Last weekend, the Butler College of Education threw their annual Christmas party and we headed out to the Indianapolis Country Club for the party. Being the College of Education, families (including kids) were invited and they had tables set up with arts and crafts to keep the kids busy as well as lots of good kid-friendly food.
But the highlight of the night was Reese getting to meet Santa for the first time. He wasn't completely sure what he thought of Santa at first and he was a bit skittish about sitting on his lap, but once he decided he wanted to talk with Santa he did great - and he really talked.
He told Santa he wanted trains and he also told Santa that he was wearing a sweater...and shoes (he's really been into telling people what he's wearing lately). We had a great time at the party and it was nice to get a few pictures of Reese talking with Santa too.
Cute! He looks like he's really thinking about what he wants to say. Reese needs to talk to Charlotte and convince her that Santa is not scary.
