Merry (belated) Christmas!

This post is a bit overdue, but we had a great Christmas in Indy this year. My whole family came into town for Christmas - Taylor came in from Columbus and Nathalie, Matt and Elliot came down from Lansing to celebrate together.

Just like we did a couple years ago, we hosted a get together at our place on Christmas Eve. Reese and Elliot opened a couple presents early and Reese had fun showing Uncle Taylor Charlie Brown's Christmas on the iPad.

This was the first year we left a note and cookies out for Santa and when we woke up in the morning, he had eaten most of the cookies. As soon as we came out into the living room to see everything, Reese noticed the cookie, picked it up and asked if he could eat it. :)

Reese had a pretty good Christmas, getting a Castle play set from Nana and Boppa and a whiteboard/chalkboard table-top easel from Uncle Grant.

After we opened some presents at our house, we headed over to my parents' house to celebrate with the rest of the Williams family. Elliot got a music table for Christmas and he and Reese did a great job of sharing and playing together.

We had the kids open their presents first so Elliot could get a morning nap and Reese needed a break, so he sat in Bear's (my parents' dog) bed and watched some Veggie Tales while the rest of us opened our gifts.

For the first year, we had a theme for our Christmas dinner. Nathalie came up with the idea to do a How the Grinch Stole Christmas themed meal so we made food mentioned in the book. Lindsay designed all the table decorations and place settings.

We had a great Christmas this year and hope you all had a wonderful year as well. Merry Christmas!
