It's been too long since we blogged and we have a backlog of photos from the past couple months. So here's a wrap-up of some of the things we did in May, but haven't blogged about yet.
Over Memorial Day weekend, we headed to downtown Indy to watch the Indianapolis 500 Festival Parade. An annual tradition the day before The Race, this was our first time checking out the parade in person. It had been pretty hot for several days leading up to Memorial Day weekend and Race Day and Memorial Day were both hot as well, but Parade Day was perfect.

This is probably a picture of him seeing the Scooby Doo balloon. He was obsessed with Scooby Doo for about a week after the parade.
We also decided to tackle some gardening in May. Reese was a big helper scooping the dirt out of the wheelbarrow.
And the finished product. 2 months later, the herbs have grown so big you wouldn't even recognize them. It might be time to make some more pesto.
