June was a month of festivals and art fairs for us. Over the course of June's four weekends we attended the 54th & Monon Art Fair (a little street fair in our neighborhood featuring arts, food and music), the Talbot Street Art Fair (our favorite art fair in Indy - it's located downtown and has really high quality products, and it's free), had Reese's 2nd Birthday Party (another post about that soon) and the Christ the King Summer Social festival at the catholic church a few blocks from our house.
At the 54th and Monon Art Fair we stopped by the fruit stand at the Monon and enjoyed some Hoosier-made Sugar Cream Pie.
Reese had lots of fun eating the pie and playing with bubbles.
The following weekend, we headed downtown with my parents to the Talbot Street Art Fair and, although we didn't buy anything this year, we had a great time. The weather was surprisingly nice - typically it's blazing hot when we're at Talbot Street each year.
Reese and Bo had a great time together at the Talbot Street Art Fair.
During the last weekend in June, we headed to the Summer Social up the street. It was the first time Cici had ever had a breaded tenderloin and I think she was a fan. She's really becoming a Hoosier now!
what?!? a first tenderloin? those people always surprise me when i hear of them. i didn't think they existed under the age of 20. glad she liked it! :)
