This past weekend we took a short trip to Chicago to visit Uncle Grant and his girlfriend, Claire. We had great weather, amazing food, and Reese got lots of extra attention!
We spent the afternoon at Lincoln Park and checked out the zoo. Reese thought Uncle Grant was more fun than the animals.
Claire was gracious enough to let us stay at her apartment in Lincoln Park (a neighborhood just north of downtown). It was wonderful to have space for Reese to play and we love exploring the neighborhoods of Chicago. Grant and Claire even spoiled us with an offer to watch Reese while Jeremy and I went out to dinner on Saturday night. We had fabulous tapas and enjoyed a night without kids!
Chicago is one of our favorite places and every time we visit, we wonder why we've been away so long. Thanks Uncle Grant and Claire for a fabulous getaway!
