Our big summer trip this year was to visit Nana and Boppa in Denver (or Whoville, as they jokingly refer to their subdivision). We spend an entire week and got to show the boys what the mountains look like during the summer. Until this trip, they'd only visited at Christmas.
We spent a few nights in Keystone, exploring the mountains and hiking and the rest of the time we checked out Denver.
For a full rundown of the trip, check out the video. Palmer is starting to join his brother in performing for the camera so he makes lots of appearances hamming it up in the video.

Reese inherited an old headset from Boppa and was the co-pilot from the back seat for our drives
We took two hikes. One in Frisco and another in Breckenridge. The boys couldn't get enough of the mountains or exploring in the woods.
As one might imagine we had some big playground fans in our group so we checked out several in the mountain towns surrounding where we stayed.
Nana, Boppa and Reese had an adventure in a paddle boat on Lake Keystone one afternoon. They fed the ducks and giant trout.
We played in Dry Creek at Belleview Park in Denver, a park Lindsay played at frequently as a little kid.
We also spent some time with Gigi and celebrated Great Aunt Cali's birthday.
And what blog post would be complete without a few Palmerisms from the trip?
Me: Palmer, what's your name?
Palmer: Palmer Allens
Palmer: Knock, Knock
Me: Who's there?
P: Nacho
M: Nacho Who?
P: Nacho Cheese!
Every time we saw mountains or waterfalls, he would yell out: "Mountains!" or "Waterfall!" He would also yell "Whoville" whenever we were close to Nana and Boppa's house.
