Lindsay and I have been watching a lot of Dog Whisperer episodes in the past month to get Rosie ready for the baby. We've been working with her on a lot of different things, including teaching her to walk on the Treadmill (see
our earlier post on that) and teaching her to be quiet and calm when people come to the door. One other thing we decided to try was to "give her a job". Last weekend, we picked up a doggy backpack for Rosie. As you can see, she wasn't sure what to think of it at first:
We've been walking her with the backpack on for the last several days and she's gotten used to it. It actually helps to tire her out much quicker than normal. I even think she kind of likes it now:
After a nice long walk with her backpack, Rosie is very tired, but luckily, she is able to relax with Linds on the couch while watching a movie.
