2014 Indiana State Fair

It's once again August, so it's time for the State Fair. We've been for each of the past six years with the boys (see our state fair posts from the past here: 2013 2012201120102009) and we had a great time again:

We went twice this year and one visit was on $2 Tuesday, so we got to try several food samples for just $2 each:

During one of our visits, we got a shot of Palmer riding the mini tractor. The same tractors that Reese rode when he was about Palmer's age:

The boys got to feed the goats:

We took Reese to the DNR Fishing Pond and he caught his limit of 3 bluegill in less than 5 minutes. I was very impressed that he even held the fish while I took it off the hook.

Reese did a garden scavenger hunt and won some seeds to plant at home

The boys got to "milk a cow"

This year, the winner of the can art was an Olaf!

The boys with Indiana's largest pumpkin:

As is tradition, Reese just had to have his cotton candy

Palmer really enjoyed his first bite of cotton candy

Reese played a football game in one of the buildings and won a Colts pennant. He was very excited!
