The Past Week - Palmer, Visitors and Some Reese-isms

We've had a busy and fun week and I was lucky enough to be able to stay home for all of the last week.

One very nice surprise we got was a very nice (and unexpected) letter from the Lt. Governor. I've met her a few times during my time at the Tourism office, but I never expected we would get a handwritten note congratulating us on Palmer's birth.

We had a great time walking up to the Farmer's Market with Grant and Claire:

Reese did a great job holding Palmer for the first time. (you can see it in the video on our last post).

Our friend Katie came over and met Palmer. He was pretty happy to be held:

We took some pictures of Reese swaddled in his crib so we wanted to make sure we took a few of Palmer too:

We also gave Palmer his first bath in his little tub and Reese was a GREAT helper!

Lindsay and Palmer always enjoy a little Skype time with Nana:

And, of course, Reese is still his goofy self:

And now, some Reese-isms from the past week:

Lindsay mentioned something about having a sore in her mouth and Reese overheard her. Then he said "Mom, why do you have dinosaurs in your mouth?"

Reese and I were sitting on the couch watching the Colts game and he randomly looked up at me and said "Dad, if you were a flower, I'd pick you" - I still have no idea where he heard that.

  1. Such great pictures! We can't wait to meet Palmer and see Reese! I'm wishing we hadn't pushed our trip back by a week! I especially love the picture of bathtime. :)
