Build-A-Bear for Monkey

A few weeks ago we headed to the mall to go to Build-A-Bear Workshop, but there were closed for renovations. We were hoping that Reese would be able to make a stuffed animal for Monkey. Luckily, we found out that there was another Build-A-Bear at a mall on the southside, so we headed down there this afternoon to finally build a stuffed animal for Monkey.

Reese selected a chocolate brown puppy for Monkey. Here he is kissing a plush heart that they put into the animal before they sew them up:

After the puppy was all stuffed, Reese got to hug the puppy to make sure it was perfect for Monkey:

After the puppy was stuffed and sewed up, we brought him over for a "bath". Reese put the puppy under a faucet that sprays air and used a brush to fluff the fur:

After the puppy was all stuffed, we sat down at a computer to type out the "birth certificate". When we asked Reese what he wanted to name the puppy, he quickly said Daniel.

So when Reese visits the hospital and meets Monkey for the first time, he'll bring Daniel to give to Monkey as a gift:
