We're five weeks into the project and an end is in sight! The trim is all painted and the first coat of wall paint has gone up in the basement and upstairs. For the main upstairs bedroom and the basement, we went with the tan wall color that we also have in our room and Reese's room.

Here's a look at one of dormers upstairs (the paint color is the same as the basement color, but there aren't any lights up there yet, so the colors don't look quite the same with flash):
The fourth and final window got installed today with new trim:
And here's the bathroom color. It's a pretty dark grey. We might go out looking for a mirror this weekend to hang behind the sink:
...and the closet - also painted the dark grey of the rest of the bathroom.
On Monday the painters will be back to put up a second coat and the rest of the bathroom tile will go up. If all goes as planned, we should be finished up by the end of next week.
