Friday: Before school let out, my AVID students gave me a gift card to Target. It was super special since I've been with these students for two years and we kind of all feel like a big family. We finally decided what we wanted to use the gift card for and so Friday night we added one more piece of baby paraphernalia to our house and got Reese a swing.
Saturday: Reese had his first bottle. Jeremy did a great job and I think Reese and Dad both enjoyed it. I'm excited about the possibility of getting a little more sleep now that Jeremy can handle a feeding on his own.
Sunday: Uncle Matt and Aunt Nathalie drove all the way from Lansing to see Reese. We had a great time visiting, including a trip to
Trader's Point Creamery, a local organic dairy farm, for some ice cream. The weather cooperated and we were able to grill out for dinner too. We are so glad they finally had a chance to meet Reese!
And finally, what great weekend wouldn't be complete without a bath. Reese had taken to baths like a duck to water and even gets upset when we get him out. However, he loves being towel dried off, especially the head-rub.
