This has been a busy Memorial Day weekend for Lindsay and I. We babysat for Charlotte on Saturday, watched the Indy 500 online on Sunday and we bought the Baby-Mobile on Memorial Day.We looked around at several different small SUVs and the Kia Sportage just seemed to be the right car for us. They've improved their quality substantially over the last few years (since being bought out by Hyundai) and we got a great deal on it. We turned in the Honda and now we've got a car that we'll be able to grow into with our new family.
Two things that sealed the deal:
- There's an audio input jack so we can play the iPod through the car's audio system
- We bought the car at a dealership just down the road from our house, so on the test drive, we brought it home to make sure it would fit in the garage - it fit!
